Princes Town man shot while urinating

A Princes Town man is warded at the San Fernando General Hospital following a shooting incident which occurred on Thursday morning.

The victim was reportedly heading towards his home after dropping off a female friend when at around 1.30 am he pulled at the side of the roadway to urinate.

While next to his car, a white Nissan B14 motor-vehicle pulled alongside him.

An occupant of the car asked the driver why he was in the area but before the Princes Town man could answer, he heard several explosions.

He then felt a burning sensation to the leg and realized that he was shot.

The assailant re-entered the vehicle which then sped off.

The police and emergency health services were notified and the wounded man was rushed to the hospital.

Up to midday, the victim was said to be warded in a stable condition.
