Prison officers quarantined in Tobago after contact with COVID-19 case

At least three prison officers in Tobago are self-quarantining for the next two weeks.

This comes after the officer was made aware that a woman, he was close with, was in close contact with another individual, from Trinidad who had tested positive for COVID-19.

The officer made his seniors aware of the situation on Wednesday and the Tobago prison was sanitized on Thursday and Friday.

They are expected to undergo contact tracing and even undergo COVID-19 tests.

The operations at the Tobago prison are back up and running.

More on this as it becomes available.
