Probe launched as cellphones found at prison

Over the past seven days, several contraband items, including cellular phones, cigarettes, chargers, and other electronic items have been discovered at the Maximum Security Prison.

The matter is currently being investigated by a team of officers, under the supervision of Commissioner or Prisons Gerard Wilson.

The latest find was said to be on Sunday where over 300 packets of Du Maurier and Broadway were seized.

The continued searches are part of the organisation’s continued crack down in the service of contraband and illegal items.
