Created : 21 October 2018
The Ministry of Works and Transport has advised that Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) will be providing free shuttle service to and from San Fernando and Port of Spain today for those that need transportation.
According to a post to the Ministry’s Facebook page at approximately 7:33 am, this service begins at 8 am for the Port of Spain to San Fernando Route leaving from City Gate.
The San Fernando to Port of Spain route began immediately, with buses departing from the Bus Terminal.
The service will continue every hour until it is no longer required.
The southbound lane of the Uriah Butler Highway between Caroni and Munroe Road remains closed. The northbound lane is facilitating north and southbound traffic at this time, but only SUVs and trucks will be allowed access at this time due to the level of the water on the highway.
