Puerto Rico revises COVID-19 figures

Puerto Rico for a second time has adjusted it categories for presenting its confirmed COVID-19 figures.

This change will account for the drop in the daily count of the number of confirmed coronavirus in the Caribbean.

The Department of Health in Puerto Rico as of June 11 will list confirmed cases, probable cases and deaths.

The changes have already been made to its data panel.

Puerto Rico's Secretary of Health in a media briefing said the categories were done in accordance with guidelines established by the United States Council on State and Territorial Epidemiologists.

Before, Puerto Rico was reporting only unique virus cases.
