RBC confirms closure of branches in Diego Martin and St James
RBC will be closing two branches in the west.
The bank has confirmed that its branches in Diego Martin and St James will be closed next month.
"RBC has announced changes to our physical network in Trinidad and Tobago. RBC will consolidate the operations of the Diego Martin store with our store at West Mall and the St. James store with the Maraval store on April 20, 2018," the bank said in a statement.
"The changes announced for these stores is one aspect of our multi-channel strategy for clients, one which encompasses our ATMs, mobile app, online banking and mobile sales force in addition to our store locations. The redesign and strategic deployment of our stores is a critical part of our brand and of the multi-channel experience we are creating for our clients."
On February 27, RBC formally opened its Financial Solutions Centre in Pt. Lisas – a new concept store where clients have options to conduct their everyday transactions as well as receive personalised attention for advice and solutions to their more complex financial needs.
A new RBC store is expected to be opened in Marabella in the coming months following the closure of the RBC branch in Pointe-a-Pierre.
