RBC Royal Bank at Rookery Nook, Maraval has reopened its doors, now offering digital solutions to its customers.

The redesign features digital-friendly solutions including a “discovery zone” furnished with tablets which allow customers to access their online banking features and conduct transactions without having to joining a queue.

Customers can also access the Client Advice Centre, which offers RBC clients service and advice on a full-time basis.

The remodeling is part of the Bank’s thrust toward evolving to meet clients’ needs by creating opportunities, anticipating clients’ needs, using technology and offering flexibility.

Speaking at the relaunch last Friday, Managing Director, RBC Trinidad and Tobago Gretchen Camacho-Mohammed said the bank is focused on offering banking with a difference – creating spaces for traditional, digital and relationship banking.

“We are changing the way we interact with you to add value and provide support for your more complex financial solutions. We recognise that around the world, clients’ needs and expectations are changing … how they interact with service providers ... the choices they want when deciding how, when and where to get what they need.”

The RBC Managing Director noted the importance of recognising clients’ changing behaviour, as market leaders and innovators Expedia, Amazon, Netflix and Uber have done.

“We are willing to imagine what the bank of the future will look like – and we are taking steps to define it by evolving our RBC retail branches,” she declared.

Also at the reopening was Mayor of Port of Spain, Joel Martinez; Acting Inspector, Financial Institutions, Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago Patrick Solomon; CEO, RBC Financial Caribbean Limited Darryl White, Regional Operating Officer, RBC Royal Bank Trinidad and Tobago Richard Downie, Sister Arlene Greenidge and Sister Gillian Garcia, of the St. Dominic’s Children’s Home.
