RBC relocates Pointe-a-Pierre branch to Marabella
RBC Royal Bank has announced that it will be moving its Pointe-a-Pierre branch to a new location at Southern Main Road, Marabella.
In a statement, the bank said the decision to relocate the branch was taken following a detailed assessment that was designed to ensure that they continue to offer a strong banking experience to our clients with minimal service disruptions.
The relocation will take place in two phases, as both Business and Personal Banking services will transfer to other locations. Phase one will involve moving the Business Banking team to its permanent location at RBC’s High Street branch. There will also be a temporary relocation of the Personal Banking teams to other branches, including High Street, Chaguanas, Couva, Gulf City, Princes Town and Siparia branches.
In phase two, the Personal Banking team will relocate to the new branch in Marabella. The date of this transfer is not yet final, but RBC expects this will take place in January 2018.
While the Pointe-a-Pierre branch will close on June 16 at 5 pm, the two cash dispensing ATMs will remain at the Pointe-a-Pierre mall for the convenience of personal and business clients. Some services, such as night deposit, will have interim arrangements during the relocation period.
“We remain committed to transforming both our physical and digital channels and minimising disruptions in order to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations. We are expanding the ways that clients can interact with RBC across the Caribbean and around the world,” said Darryl White, Managing Director of RBC Royal Bank.
Information about specific services and how clients can continue to access them is available at the Pointe-a-Pierre branch up to June 16, via the RBC Contact Centre (800-1RBC), and on the RBC website.
