Rehabilitation works started on Naparima Mayaro Road
A traffic disruption is expected to remain in place along the Naparima Mayaro Road from lere Village Branch Road to Malgretoute Branch Road until November as road rehabilitation works get underway.
Work began on Monday and is expected to be completed on November 13.
The Ministry of Works and Transport has advised that concrete works will be done between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm while road works will be carried out from 8 pm to 5 am.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers and drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
They should also comply with instructions from police officers on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.
Motorists should also note that heavy equipment will be entering and exiting the site.
Motorists are further advised to drive with caution on all milled and possibly uneven surfaces.
