Rihanna is about to embark on yet another business venture – this time in the US$445 billion beauty industry.

The ‘good girl gone bad’ has long become ‘island girl turned mogul’ as her star continues to rise.

She has crossed over from pop star to fashion muse and creator, all while appearing in film and TV roles, partnering with high-end fashion designers, leisure and sportswear brands, as well as launch her own clothing, jewellery and perfume lines.

Now the green-eyed Bajan beauty will be stepping into the world of cosmetics with Fenty Beauty.

The teasers have been coming fast and furious on social media in the past weeks and tonight all will be revealed at tonight’s launch party which will be streamed live on Facebook at 7:15 p.m.

So far, Fenty Beauty has shown off rich, earthy tones in shiny lip glosses, shimmering eye shadows and more with product names like Ginger Binge, Chilli Mango, KillaWatt, Yacht Life and Confetti.

The models seen in the ad campaign so far hint that the cosmetic line will be catering to a wide range of skin tones and it’s been rumoured there are almost 40 shades of foundation.

Fenty Beauty products start shipping at midnight on September 8 and will be available worldwide at Sephora and Harvey Nichols.
