Road works to cause disruption to Churchill Roosevelt Highway
The National Infrastructure Development Company (NIDCO) and the Ministry of Works is seeking to advise members of the public that the will be temporary lane disclosures along the westbound and eastbound lanes of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (CRH) in the vicinity of the Curepe Interchange Project.
Works will be executed between 7 am and 5 pm from Tuesday, June 11 until Sunday, June 16 as outlined below:
Tuesday June 11 to Friday June 14
Eastbound Lane 7 am to 2 pm
Westbound Lane 10 am to 5 pm
Saturday June 15 to Sunday June 16
Eastbound Lane 7 am to 5 pm
Westbound Lane 7 am to 5 pm
A minimum of two lanes of traffic will remain open to motorists in both directions along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway at all times.
In light of the above motorists are also advised to comply with following:
- proceed with caution
- reduce speed on approaching the work zone
- comply with instructions issued by police officers on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic
- observe all temporary directional signage provided on the approaches to the site
- be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site
All precautions are being taken by the MOWT, NIDCO and its Contractor to guarantee proper Health, Safety and Environmental Standards are maintained.
