Road works scheduled for CRH until Sunday
Temporary lane closures will be implemented along the west bound and east bound lanes of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (CRH) as the National Infrastructure Development Company Limited (NIDCO) and the Ministry of Works and Transport conduct road works from Tuesday until Sunday.
NIDCO advised that the work will be executed between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm as outlined below:
June 18: East bound Lanes: 7 am to 2 pm; West Bound Lanes: 2 pm to 5 pm
June 19, 20: East bound and West Bound Lanes: 7 am to 5 pm
June 21: East bound Lanes: 7 am to 2 pm; West Bound Lanes: 2 pm to 5 pm
June 22, 23: East bound and West Bound Lanes: 7 am to 5 pm
A minimum of two Ianes of traffic will remain open to motorists in both directions along the CRH at all times.
Motorists are also advised to proceed with caution, comply with instructions issued by police officers on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic, observe all temporary directional signage provided on nearing the site.
Motorists should reduce speed on approaching the work tone and aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site.
All precautions are being taken by the MOWT, NIDCO and its contractor to guarantee proper health, safety and environmental standards are maintained.
