Mobile phone store robbed in Tobago

Tobago police are investigating a report of shop breaking and larceny in Crown Point.

Police say that around 2.20 am on Tuesday, they received information that Berry Link Cellular, located at Coliseum Mall, Crown Point, had been broken into.
When they arrived at the scene, the officers found that a window on the eastern side of the building had been broken. This was the point of entry and exit.
Employees conducted checks to see if anything was missing and informed officers that a pouch containing over $5,000 had been stolen.
Police were also told that several cellular phones were missing, however, the numbers and values had to be tallied.
Crime scene experts examined the scene for fingerprints.

Investigators are also expected to review nearby CCTV footage with the hopes of identifying the suspects.
