Ronnie and Caro crowned 2017 national Large Band of the Year

This, according to the National Carnival Commission at a media briefing on Wednesday afternoon. 

In first place was Ronnie and Caro with the winning presentation "Fearless 10" which earned them 1242 points. 

In second place was The Lost Tribe with its presentation "Riddim", a repeat of the band's 2016 position and a stellar performance for the band's second year in existence. 

In third place was Trini Revellers with its presentation "Al Zawaj - The Wedding Under The Arabian Skies".
