Rowley arrives in Uruguay to discuss Venezuela's political crisis

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has arrived in Uruguay where he joins a CARICOM delegation which will attend an international meeting on the situation in Venezuela.
He touched down in the country on Wednesday accompanied by Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Minister Dennis Moses.
The meeting is expected to be held to be held in Montevideo, Uruguay and representatives from the main countries and international organisations that hold a neutral position toward Venezuela have been invited to the meeting.
The purpose of the conference is to lay the foundation for establishing a new mechanism for dialogue that, with the inclusion of all Venezuelan forces, will contribute to restoring stability and peace in that country.
Dr Rowley is expected to return on Friday.
