San Fernando police inspector’s home robbed

A police inspector was the victim of a burglary when her Gulf View Villas, La Romaine was broken into.

Reports say 62-year-old Camella Mohammed, a police inspector and trainee supervisor at the police training academy, secured her home around 9 pm on Saturday before leaving for the night.

She returned home around 9.30 am the following day to discover that her home had been broken into and several rooms ransacked.

Upon checking, she found $3000 in cash, one gold hand band valued at $3500, one gold charm hand band valued $2800 and one HP laptop valued $1200 missing from the house.

Police believe the bandits gained entry to the home by prying open the burglarproofing on a window around 10 pm that night.

Investigations are continuing.
