Scotiabank reopens three more branches, now has 20 operational
Scotiabank Limited has announced the phased reopening of its branches to meet the needs of its customers.
The bank issued a statement on Thursday, noting that effective May 20, the Diego Martin, Siparia and Scarborough branches were reopened. Last week, the Cunupia, Maraval and Rio Claro branches also resumed operations for a total of 20 branches.
The financial institution went on to remind the public that the first hour of opening will be dedicated to the elderly and disabled people.
Those who do not fall in either category are asked to respect the measure and visit the non-mall branches after 9 am and mall branches after 11 am.
The opening hours are as follows:
Non-mall Branches - 8 am -1 pm - Monday to Thursday
Non-mall Branches - 8 am- 2 pm - Friday
Mall Branches - 10 am-3 pm - Monday to Friday
Scotiabank is also urging clients to visit the ban only when necessary.
It said transactions that can be done via Scotia OnLine Banking, the Scotiabank Caribbean Mobile Banking App and Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) will not be facilitated over the counter.
Only the following transactions can be done over the counter at the branch:
- Cash deposits over $20,000
- Cash withdrawals over $5,000
- Wire transfers
- Limited loan services
- Purchase of drafts
- Pay your Credit Card (Customers without deposit accounts only)
