Sea Lots man found guilty in murder of Sugar Aloes' son
31-year-old Arnold 'Redo' Isaac has been found guilty of the murder of calypsonian Sugar Aloes' son, Imo Osuna.
According to an update from the TTPS, the verdict was given on May 29, 2018 after hours of deliberation by the jury.
Justice Norton Jack read the sentence of death by hanging to Isaac for the murder of Osuna in 2006 at Sea Lots, Port of Spain.
This was the second re-trial after the initial 2015 trial resulted in a hung jury.
Imo Osuna, son of calypsonian Sugar Aloes (Michael Osuna) was killed at a christening near his home at Pioneer Drive, Sea Lots, on October 29, 2006.
Osuna reportedly chastised a group of men at the event regarding a stolen chain, however, he was accused of being disrespectful and was threatened.
Several days later he was ambushed and shot to death.
