SEA results expected early July
Results of the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) examination are expected early in July.
Speaking with LoopTT on Saturday, Education Minister Anthony Garcia said the results are expected to be released early in the first week of July.
The Minister also sought to allay fears that some students may not be placed in secondary schools, following reports of a shortfall of spaces for 800 students.
Garcia said there was no need to panic, as he assured that every child who wrote the examination will find a place in a secondary school.
He explained that in some cases Principals have indicated that they can only accommodate a specific number of students due to concerns of overcrowding.
The Minister said he has since sent official correspondence to these schools requesting that the situation be rectified.
