Updated: 6.0 aftershock shakes T&T

Update: T&T was shaken by a 6.0 aftershock on Wednesday morning. This was revised by a UWI Seismologist as it was previously reported that the aftershock registered as a 5.9 on the Richter scale. 

The aftershock came less than 24 hours after a powerful 6.9 quake shook T&T on Tuesday around 5:31 pm.

The University of the West Indies (UWI) Seismic Research Centre said this morning’s event occurred at 9:27 am at a depth of 80 kilometres.
