A second man is expected to appear before a San Fernando Magistrate on Tuesday charged with the 2019 murder of Damian Howe.

Jamal Warner, 24, of Enid Street, Marabella was charged with the offence following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC on July 13.

Howe was at his Kitchener Street, Marabella home around 5.15 am on November 14, 2019, when two armed men entered and shot him several times about the body.

The assailants then escaped through the front door of the house.

Warner was arrested on July 9, 2020 in connection with the incident and charged with the offence by PC Rahim of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region 3.

This murder was previously solved in January 2020, with 26-year-old Jamal Butcher being charged on January 13, 2020 in connection with the incident.

He appeared before a San Fernando Magistrate on January 14, 2020.
