Security guard killed while heading to first day of work

Excited to start his first day of work as a security officer, 22-year-old Ricardo Vincent left his Chase Village home at 5.25 am on Thursday.

He was found dead 35 minutes later along Xeres Road, Carlsen Field.

Police have no motive for his killing, and officers of the Central Division and the Homicide Bureau, including ASP Smith, Inspector Alexander, and Sgt Elvin, are currently on location.

Vincent’s body was found by a resident of the area as he was walking along the roadway.

Spent shells were recovered.

More on this as it becomes available.
