Created : 24 June 2019
The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has advised customers served by the Valsayn A Booster Station that there will be an interruption to their pipe-borne water supply on Tuesday, June 25 between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.
The company issued a statement on Monday, confirming that the interruption was necessary to facilitate pipeline maintenance works at the facility.
The affected areas include:
Along the Eastern Main Road from St. Joseph to Aranguez Main Road, San Juan including Champs Fleurs, Mt. Hope, Mt. Lambert, and Petit Bourg;
Lower and Upper Santa Cruz including Homestead Gardens, Pax Vale, Popiol Road, Sam Boucaud Gardens and environs.
Customers have also been advised that it may take up to 12 hours for the pipe-borne water supply schedules to normalise to some areas after the station is restarted.
Customers are also asked to contact WASA's Customer Call Centre toll-free at 80-4420/4426 for more information or assistance.
The Authority has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
