Sheron's brother, Sheldon Sukhdeo reported kidnapped

A relative of slain businessman Sheron Sukhdeo was reportedly kidnapped on Sunday morning.

Sheldon Sukhdeo, who is the brother of Sheron Sukhdeo, was taken around 5:00 am Sunday in Claxton Bay and has not returned home since.

While information is still coming in, LoopTT was told that the incident took place in the Claxton Bay area.

The man was said to be in the company of a number of other people when a black SUV vehicle pulled up alongside the group.

A group of men exited the car with what appeared to be firearms and rifles and ordered Sukhdeo into the SUV.

The vehicle then drove off.

The police were immediately notified and officers from various units in the Central Division and the Anti Kidnapping Unit, under the supervisions of Snr Sup Balram and Snr Sup Daniel, are currently investigating the report.

No one was injured in this incident.
