Two men are being treated at the Mt Hope Hospital following a shooting in Malabar.
According to police, around 7.45 pm Monday, 41-year-old Kerry Browne and 58-year-old Albert Seales were sitting under a tree at the savannah on Banyan Boulevard when they a dark-coloured vehicle stopped alongside them.
Three men all dressed in black clothing, two of whom were armed, exited and fired several shots in their direction before escaping.
Both victims were taken to the Arima Health Facility.
Browne sustained a gunshot wound to his left knee while Seales is still being attended to for multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers recovered 28 spent 9mm shells.
As of Tuesday morning, both victims were transferred to the Mt Hope Hospital where they remain in a stable condition.
Investigations are continuing.
