Acting Snr Supt Peter Dominique charged with indecent assault against female cop.
An acting senior superintendent of police charged with indecent assault and serious indecency against a female cop was offered $100,000 bail when he appeared virtually before a justice of the peace today.
Peter Dominique, who was last in charge of the Emergency Response Patrol Unit, appeared before JP Abraham Ali shortly after being charged.
The matter was set for January 7, 2021 after Dominique was offered bail with surety.
The complainant reported to the Professional Standards Bureau (PSB) that she went into Dominique's office on July 21 to return a set of keys when he held onto her hand and closed the door as she attempted to leave.

Officers from the PSB launched an investigation into the matter and consulted with Director of Public Prosecutions Roger Gaspard, who advised that Dominique should be charged.
The probe was supervised by acting Senior Superintendent Ramnarine Samaroo and Superintendent Montrichard.
W/Cpl Marshall and cpls Bissessar and Moore assisted.
