St Ann's residents hope for relief after WASA repairs
Residents in St Ann's and parts of Cascade look forward to a resumption of their water supply after the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) said repairs were carried out on October 4, 2018.
In a statement issued October 4, WASA acknowleged that there were issues affecting the pipe-borne water supply to some areas in Cascade including Hillside and Pomme Rose Avenues over the past few weeks.
"Following in-depth investigation of the problem, corrective works were concluded on October 4, 2018 and the pipe-borne water supply schedules are expected to normalize over the next 24 to 36 hours."
"The Authority will be monitoring the area closely over the upcoming days and weeks to ensure that there is no recurrence and doing additional work and checks in the area to ensure the reliability of supply within the existing schedules," WASA said.
The company also apologised for the inconvenience caused.
