Update: A 12-year-old girl from St James who was reported missing on Saturday has been found. 

Gabriella Brooks was last seen that morning when she left home to head into Port-of-Spain. 

The Police Service confirmed that the girl was home safely with her family, and thanked the public for their assistance in ensuring her safe return.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 12-year-old girl from St James.

Gabriella Brooks, from Long Circular, Belle Vue, St James, was last seen around 11 am on Saturday, when she left home to go to Port of Spain.

Her mother reported her missing to the Besson Street Police Station, around 9:15 pm the same day.

Gabriella is of African descent, 5 feet tall, slim built, with a brown complexion, brown eyes, pug nose, oval face, small mouth and was last seen wearing a white top with an animal print and an orange tights.

Police are asking anyone with information on the girl’s whereabouts is asked to contact the police at 999, 911, 800-TIPS or any police station or text/WhatsApp 482-GARY.
