Strong currents delay 2pm arrival of Galleons Passage

The M.V. Galleons Passage is still en route to Trinidad, but will arrive a bit later than its originally scheduled time of 2 pm.

In an update on Monday, the National Infrastructure Development Company (NIDCO) said the vessel is still experiencing strong currents and has reduced its speed accordingly.

However, arrival is still scheduled for today.

The Galleons Passage was approximately 75 Nautical Miles off Port of Spain at 11 am.

NIDCO indicated that once the vessel is docked in Port of Spain, routine inspection and clearance will be carried out by Customs and Excise.
