Student from Providence Girls' stabbed with pair of compasses

A 16-year-old student of the Providence Girls' Catholic School is currently being treated at the hospital after being stabbed.
The teenager, who resides in Port of Spain, was standing at the corner of Belle Eau and Belmont Circular roads around 2.58 pm when she was attacked by two female students of the Tranquility Secondary School.
The victim was beaten and stabbed three times with a pair of compasses from a geometry set.
She was hospitalised and remains stable.
The victim and attackers' identities have been withheld since they are minors.
