An 18-year-old student was cornered in the washroom of a fast food outlet and robbed at gunpoint.
The victim, of Bon Air Gardens Arouca, police that at about 4.30 pm on Wednesday, he was in the washroom area of the popular fast food outlet, located along Hollis Avenue, Arima, when he was approached by three men.
One of the men pulled out a firearm and announced a hold-up.
They then proceeded to rob the student of the Royal Academy in Tunapuna, of his cash and cellular phone.
The assailants then made good their escape.
The police were notified and a search was conducted, however, the suspects were not found.
