Tatil staff member tests positive for COVID-19

A Tatil worker tested positive for COVID-19 and is under quarantine, the company said.

Tatil shared a statement on Friday (August 21), saying the staff member was under quarantine since August 14, and tested positive for the virus on Wednesday August 19.

‘We wish to advise that one of our employees at Tatil’s Head Office, 11 Maraval Road, tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday August 19. This staff member has been in self-quarantine since Friday August 14.’

The company said that the company already implemented sanitisation procedures and staff are still able to serve customers.

‘We assure you that full COVID-19 protocols have always been practiced and continue to be in place at all locations of Tatil and Tatil Life.’

In addition to our existing daily sanitisation schedule, out of an abundance of caution, we immediately implemented deep sanitisation and fogging. Our staff are in office, ready to serve you safely.’

The company said that safety remains its main concern.
