Teen found severely beaten, bleeding at her Tobago home

An 18-year-old woman is hospitalised following what police believe was an attack at her Bon Accord home.

Around 9.15 am on Monday, relatives found the victim lying in a pool of blood in the bedroom of her home in Milford, Tobago.

There were severe injuries to her face, with her left eye so swollen that it could not open.

The police and emergency health services were notified and the injured woman was rushed for medical treatment at the Scarborough General Hospital.

Her condition was said to be ‘critical’ up to this morning, with internal bleeding and parts of her skull fractured.

Police are hopeful she will make a full recovery and be able to give an account of what transpired.

PC Thomas is continuing inquiries.
