Teen held with marijuana in police exercise Loop News Created : 18 May 2017 Crime A police exercise in Tunapuna led to the arrest of an 18-year-old boy for possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. According to reports, the exercise was carried out between the hours of 1pm and 7pm on Wednesday. The exercise was coordinated by ACP Hackshaw, spearheaded by Snr. Supt. Jacob and included a party of officers from the Northern Division Area West Task Force. During the exercise, the officers arrested 18-year-old Tristan Springer for possession of 53 grammes of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. The officers also recovered a silver Nissan Tiida in a garage along Glenside Street, Tunapuna. The vehicle was reported as stolen from the St Joseph District on Tuesday. No one was arrested in connection with the find.
