Teenager hospitalised after shooting

A 15-year-old boy is currently warded at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex following a shooting incident in Arima.

The teenager, whose identity is being withheld, sustained his injuries on Friday afternoon while liming along Dump Road, Arima.

According to police, the wounded teen was dropped by at the Arima District Health Facility.

Doctors were informed that he had been shot.

The young man was stabilized, following which he was transferred to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex.

Up to Monday, he was said to still be warded in a stable condition.
