THA and CAL invite feedback on $50 change fee on domestic air bridge
A Joint Committee between the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) and Caribbean Airlines Limited has been set up with a mandate to review and evaluate the fifty dollar ($50) change fee introduced by Caribbean Airlines on the domestic air bridge and examine modifications in travel behaviour and improvements in the customer’s travel experience.
The change fee came into effect on December 12, 2017.
In announcing the change in November last year, the airline said it hoped the implementation of the fee would support its efforts to improve the efficacy of its services.
At the time, CAL said tickets on the domestic air bridge would be valid for one year from the date of purchase. It added that the Change Fee carries the validity of the ticket while payment of the Change Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
The public is hereby invited to submit feedback or recommendations on the application of the $50 change fee and travel experience.
Comments/Feedback/Recommendations may be sent directly to:-
THA/CAL Joint Committee
Passengers or the general public who may wish to meet with the Committee may also send a written request to the above.
The deadline date for all submissions is October 31, 2018.
