Thieves make off with $20K in valuables from Diego Martin home

Western Division police are investigating a report in which over $20,000 in items were stolen from a home in Diego Martin.

The victim, a 60-year-old man from Upper Cemetery Street, told police that he secured his home on Monday morning before heading out.

When he returned around 7 pm that day, he noticed that his kitchen door had been pried open.

His home had been ransacked and several things were missing, including several Milwaukee tools, batteries, saws, drills, and other items of value.

The thieves gained entry by prying open a door located on the western side of the premises and escaped the same way they entered.

WPC London is continuing inquiries.
