Three arrested in Sea Lots for obscene language, weed

Three men have been arrested while a quantity of marijuana was seized by officers of the Port of Spain Division Task Force during an anticrime exercise in Sea Lots on Friday morning. The exercise was conducted around 4:00 am.

A statement by the police service said officers arrested a 21-year-old man of Sea Lots for obscene language and a 25-year-old man, also of Sea Lots, for obscene language and resisting arrest. Meanwhile, a 19-year-old man from the same area was held for possession of nine grammes of marijuana.

During the exercise, 19 field interview forms were completed.

The operation was spearheaded by acting ASP Cumberbatch and was supervised by acting Insp McGuirk, acting Sgt Lucas, acting Cpl Lee and acting Cpl Duncan.
