Three in court for stealing weave, accessories
Three men are expected to appear before a Port of Spain Magistrate on Monday, on allegations that they stole a quantity of weaves and other accessories and products from a variety store.
The incident allegedly took place around 5:50 am on Sunday at a store along Queen Street, Port of Spain.
According to police reports, a team of officers from the Port of Spain Division, including Cpl Ramlogan and PC Boodhoo, were on patrol when they received a report of a burglary.
When officers arrived on the location, they observed three men with several items in their hands - believed to be from the store.
The men attempted to flee the scene, however, they were all caught a short distance away.
The men, aged 18, 24, and 32, were arrested, questioned, and charged.
They are expected to be brought before the courts today.
