Three severely chopped in Palo Seco, officers injured

Two officers were injured while responding to a chopping incident in Palo Seco on Sunday.

According to reports, a 40-year-old Guapo man entered the home of a Santa Flora family around 8 am and began chopping a woman about the body.

Two other family members intervened and were also chopped.

Police say the hand of one of the victims was severed at the wrist.

They were all taken to hospital where they remain warded.

Two officers who responded to a report of wounding, were kicked and cuffed by residents as they attempted to arrest the suspect.
