Time for Terri
It’s time for Terri.
That is the declaration of Dexter ‘Blaxx’ Stewart, who revealed that Terri Lyons will be among the artists featured with De All Starz along with Grenadian singer V’ghn.
Speaking at Lyon’s listening party on Monday night, Blaxx, who has a song with the daughter of soca legend Superblue, said her time has come.
“Terri work on every record, every album from here to Holland on background vocals. Everybody could hear the talent, this is the time, now is the time,” he said.
“Is Terri time now; as much as we could try to make it happen for her. Support is important.”
Grenada’s Mr Killa, whose song with Lyons, ‘Whey Yo Dey’ was launched at the Listening Party, said he has been listening to her for years.
“Terri is one of the most talented female artists in the Caribbean, not just in Trinidad and Tobago,” he said.
Lyons said, she too, believes that 2019 will be her year.
She said in addition to the two releases she has about six more songs to be released and she will be working with new songwriters such as Mad AF out of Grenada and some established ones such as Full Blown Entertainment, known for hits such as Cheers to Life, Fog, Haunted, Mr Fete and People’s Champion, among others.
