Tobago man arrested after smashing car windshield, stealing fog lamps

Tobago police are investigating a report of burglary and malicious damage.
The suspect is said to be a 29-year-old man.
According to police reports, around 3:00 am on Saturday, the 26-year-old victim told police she was at her home along Gully Trace, Delaford, in the company of a 30-year-old man, when the suspect visited her home.
The man had a confrontation with the victim, following which he proceeded to break the windscreen of the 30-year-old man’s vehicle, a white Nissan AD Wagon, which was parked outside.
The suspect then stole the fog lamps of the vehicle, before proceeding to force his way into the woman’s home where he stole the keys to her car, as well as a cellular phone.
The suspect then made good his escape.
The police were notified and officers of the Roxborough police station responded.
