Tobago woman's home raided of $15,000 in items

An estimated $15,000 in cash and jewellery was stolen from a Tobago woman.

The 50-year-old victim told police that around 11.30am on Friday, she secured her home at Sandy Hill, Lambeau, and went away.

At about 12.20 pm on the same day, she returned and observed that her home was ransacked.

A window on the southern side of her home was broken.

The victim made checks and soon discovered that TT$10,000 in cash which she kept at the home was missing, along with an estimated $5,000 in jewellery.

The police were notified and a party of officers led by  Cpl Horsford visited the scene.
