Tobago WPC caught with weed

A woman police constable is expected to appear before a Scarborough Magistrate after she was arrested on Friday afternoon with a quantity of marijuana.

The WPC, who is attached to the Crown Point Police Station, was held during a police exercise by officers of the Organized Crime, Gangs, and Narcotics Unit.

The officers executed a search warrant at the woman’s home in Mason Hall, Tobago, in the presence of the WPC and her common-law husband.

During a search of the home, a quantity of drugs was found and seized

As a result, the two were immediately arrested.
