Top Cop attends secondary school sports day

Police Commissioner Gary Griffith was invited by the Bishops Anstey Trinity College East 6th Form School, to witness and be a part of the school's annual sports day.

The event was held at the school's sports ground in Trinity on Wednesday. The theme of the sports day was 'Protective Services' and, as a result, the school asked Griffith to be a part of the event by taking the salute during the march past parade.

The parade featured six teams which assumed roles of various arms of the protective services. Griffith was reportedly pleased to participate in the event which aimed to encourage sportsmanship, encourage youth development and foster deeper camaraderie among the students of the school.
