Representatives of the trade union movement are scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley this afternoon for follow up talks on labour-related matters.

The Oilfields’ Workers Trade Union (OWTU) confirmed that the meeting would take place at the Office of the Prime Minister, promptly at 1.30 pm.

Matters for review at the meeting include the National Tripartite Advisory Council (NTAC), improving productivity and the economy.

The second round of meetings with the Prime Minister will see the attendance of the Trade Union Federations – the Joint Trade Union Movement (JTUM), the National Trade Union Centre (NATUC), and the Federation of Independent Trade Unions and NGOs (FITUN).
