Traffic disruption to occur along St Lucien Road, Diego Martin

The Ministry of Works and Transport (MOWT) is seeking to advise the travelling public that there will be a temporary traffic disruption along St Lucien Road, Diego Martin over the next four months.

According to a statement, the disruption will occur from the intersection of the Diego Martin Main Road and St Lucien Road to the intersection of Sierra Leone Road and St Lucien Road.

The Ministry said this is necessary to facilitate road rehabilitation works which are expected to commence on May 15 and end on September 3.

Hours of work are as follows:

8 am to 4 pm: Strengthening works

9 pm to 4 am: Milling and paving works

In light of the above, motorists are advised to comply with the following:-

1 Proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.

2 Comply with instructions from police officers on site to facilitate a safe and orderly flow of traffic.

3 Be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site.

4 Drive with caution on all milled (possibly uneven) surfaces.

5 Motorists should drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
