Traffic disruption scheduled for Curepe Interchange
The National Infrastructure Development Company Limited (NIDCO) in partnership with the Ministry of Works (MOWT) has advised that there will be a temporary traffic disruption along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (CRH) in the vicinity of the Curepe Interchange.
The disruption is expected to take place from 9 pm on Wednesday 5 February until 3 am on Thursday 6 February along both the eastbound and westbound lanes of the highway in the vicinity of the Curepe Interchange.
A release from NIDCO said one lane of traffic will remain open to motorists along the CRH at all times.
NIDCO said the traffic disruption is necessary to facilitate works associated with casting the Bridge Deck for the Curepe Interchange.
Motorists have also been advised that during the aforementioned time ONLY, the Priority Bus Route will be open from its intersection with the Uriah Butler Highway to the Macoya Road Intersection.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and observe all directional signs, to be aware of on-going construction works and heavy equipment operating at the intersection and to comply with instructions from police officers.
