Trini allegedly expels 80 cocaine parcels after Jamaica airport arrest
A Trinidadian who was arrested at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James on Sunday, has since allegedly passed out 80 parcels of cocaine from his body.
The accused man remains in hospital, the police reported Thursday evening.
His identity has been withheld by the police as their investigations continue into the incident.
He was arrested at about 1:40 pm on suspicion of breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act after being interviewed by narcotics police personnel during security screening procedures.
He was scheduled to board a flight to Brussels, Belgium.
In a separate incident, over 43 kilogrammes of cocaine from Trinidad and Tobago was seized upon arrival at Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Canada, earlier this week.
