Trinidad and Tobago Carnival to be promoted in Switzerland
Caribbean Vybez International plans the launch of a Swiss targeted marketing campaign for Trinidad Carnival 2019 titled 'Take Me To Carnival 2019'.
The launch event will be the first J'ouvert-themed concept in Switzerland and held at one of the well-known venues Village Du Soir on May 25. “We wanted to try and increase tourism numbers for the largest Caribbean Carnival and with themed events and partnerships plan to motivate the Swiss market to feel the energy of Carnival with the hopes they plan their visit and costumes for Trinidad Carnival 2019,” said Founder and Managing Director, Ethan Auguste.
Caribbean Vybez who officially launched its operations in Europe last February at the same venue, with a Carnival themed event and over one thousand partygoers who became hooked to soca and other Caribbean genres is not only focused at awareness in Europe. The company began silently targeting tourism markets in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates almost nine years ago and has showcased the culture to over 200 nationalities, hosted numerous events, booked and worked with artists such as Kes, Destra, Alison Hinds, Rupee, Jah Cure, Busy Signal, and Diana King to name a few.
"The challenge is real, it's been hard trying to get the Government support for this and a few other projects but I still have hope," Auguste maintains, "The Swiss market is a great one, they love to travel and have the income to do so".
The organization is issuing a call to action for all cultural stakeholders to invest in this upcoming campaign, interested parties can contact Mr. Auguste via email at email@example.com.
